A new batch of stars are preparing to swap their lives of luxury for the Australian jungle as I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! returns next month.
The anticipation is nearly at its peak as the official countdown for this year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! has commenced.
The cherished ITV programme is poised to make its return next month as a new collection of celebrities prepare to abandon their luxurious lifestyles for the harsh realities of the Australian wilderness.
Whilst no participants have been officially announced yet, speculation has already started circulating online, with viewers theorising about potential contestants.
Celebrities such as Tommy Fury, Lisa Riley and Alex Scott have been suggested as possible participants in the upcoming series, reports the Express.
Although audiences must wait a bit longer to discover who will be venturing into the jungle, the show made an thrilling revelation during Thursday’s Good Morning Britain episode.
Throughout the programme, presenters Ed Balls and Ranvir Singh invited Joel Dommet and Kemi Rodgers to appear and share the exciting news.
Ed enquired, “What is the exclusive?!” Joel responded enthusiastically, “We’re back!”
Joel revealed that both he and Kemi would be returning as presenters of I’m a Celebrity… Unpacked, the ITV2 programme that provides viewers with behind-the-scenes insights and exclusive celebrity interviews.
When questioned about their responsibilities on the show, Joel explained: “It really is mad watching them go through it, but it’s just great to get them straight away as soon as they come out the jungle.
“What’s really interesting about our show, first of all, you have the interview when they immediately come out, so they haven’t had the chance to talk to their agents, their PR, all of that stuff!”.
The pair also get to chat with the celebs the day after they’ve left the jungle, giving them a bit of time to adjust back to normal life.
When quizzed about who will be heading into the jungle, Joel and Kemi admitted they’re kept in the dark by the show’s bosses.
Intrigued, Joel asked if Ranvir and Ed would ever consider signing up for the show, with one seeming more eager than the other.
Ranvir responded, “I’d do it I think! I’d give it a go.” However, Ed didn’t seem quite as keen on the idea.
He confessed, “I was bitten by a rat when I was two years old and ever since then, I’ve got a massive rat phobia, it knocks me out.”
Joel cheekily suggested to the producers, “Well, get him in immediately!” The start date for I’m A Celebrity is yet to be announced, but it’s likely to kick off next month.
