A bookshop hosted a signing event with a local author, historian, and broadcaster.
Paul Beaver, known for his expertise in aviation history, signed copies of his latest book, “Mitchell: Father of the Spitfire,” ahead of its publication.
The book delves into the life of R.J. Mitchell, the designer behind the iconic Spitfire aircraft, utilising new interviews, private archives, and previously unpublished material.
Fans of the historian also had the opportunity to get signed copies of his earlier work, “Winkle.”
The bookshop, Tea Leaves and Reads, at The Fairground Craft & Design Centre, in Weyhill, has confirmed that signed copies of both “Mitchell” and “Winkle” are still available in-store and online for order.
