A woman has allegedly led police on an early morning high-speed chase across Rockingham before losing control of her car and crashing into bushes.
The 45-year-old was allegedly spotted behind the wheel of an Audi A3 sedan with no registration plates on Day Road in East Rockingham about 1.35am on Wednesday.
According to WA Police, when officers activated their emergency lights and sirens, the woman accelerated away at high speed, sparking a pursuit.
She lost control of the vehicle near an intersection of Mandurah Road and crashed into bushland, where she was taken into custody.
The Brookdale woman was taken to Rockingham Hospital for treatment of non-serious injuries.

She is facing charges including one count of driver of a vehicle failed to comply with a direction to stop (circumstance of aggravation), a count of reckless driving to escape pursuit by police, failed to correctly affix and display a number plate on a vehicle, no authority to drive (never held) and two counts of possess a prohibited drug.
She has been bailed to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court at a later date.
