Artist Talk
Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts will host an Artist Talk with Jasmin Pannu from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the courtyard. Pannu is an award-winning artist whose work spans large-scale murals, fine art on canvas, and digital designs. She has spent the month on St. Croix and engaged with youth through a series of workshops and mural-making sessions. Jasmin will reflect on her mural-making process, her evolving artistic practice and the impact of community-based art. She’ll share stories from her time on St. Croix, offering a behind-the-scenes look at her work with local youth. The talk will conclude with a special unveiling: Pannu’s own mural, a gift to the museum, created during her residency.
Tides of Freedom
The 2025 Emancipation art exhibition Tides of Freedom will be opening today from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Fort Frederik Museum. This powerful exhibition, curated by DLAM Chief Curator Monica Marin, explores emancipation, resistance, and cultural identity through a Virgin Islands lens — featuring works that bridge past and present liberation movements. The show will run through October.

Day of Play
The Health Department presents a Field Day today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lionel Roberts Stadium. For children and adults of all ages, join for a day of sports, games and friendly competition. There will be kickball, tug of war, double dutch and there will be free giveaway and popcorn.
STEEMC 25th anniversary Happy Hour
The St. Thomas East End Medical Center will celebrate their 25th anniversary today with a happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cutlass and Cane outdoor bar. Proceeds from sales of the Tamarita 25 will support their mission to provide accessible, affordable healthcare. There will also be a raffle for the chance to win a poolside cabana experience at Lovango Resort.
