As we reported, the House Oversight Committee released their report on Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and the autopen scandal this week.
Their main findings were that there were serious questions about Biden’s approval of executive actions, including the pardons, and they referred the report to the Department of Justice to further investigate. The DOJ had already been looking into it, and the Committee report just gave them more fire.

They also released transcripts of interviews with the Biden staff, including the transcript of the interview with former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. They posted a video of her as well.
What she said was unbelievable.
KJP claimed that she couldn’t “recall” a single video of Joe Biden freezing or being confused that was real. The Oversight Committee juxtaposed her responses with videos of Biden looking confused, freezing, or wandering.
She claimed she couldn’t speak to “everything on social media.” They “prepared” the use of the term “cheap fakes,” which she said was created by the media. She said when they came up with that term, “They did the work, the legwork on coming up with that terminology.”
In terms of the Biden team, she said, “What we were trying to lift up was something that was very clear, that what they were showing was not actually what was happening.”
Except, of course, we could see that it was “what was happening,” as we saw it every day, in incident after incident, video after video, whether she can “recall” it or not. I’m not sure who she thought she was fooling with that answer. That’s why it’s so easy for the Committee to find videos. That’s just a small sample. There are countless more.
The actual “cheap fake” was the cover-up, the selling from the Biden team and the media that everything was just ducky; Biden was sharp as a tack and the best version ever.
As we previously reported, she said the talking points on Biden’s health were handled by the “senior-level” advisors. Meaning there was something to be handled. Some on the former Biden team are not happy with her; they are mad about her book.
She was also asked by the Chief Counsel for the Oversight Committee, Jake Greenberg, “Did you ever see President Biden appear confused?” Her response was, “No.”
Later in the remarkable interview, the former press secretary was asked specifically about Biden’s disastrous June 2024 debate against President Trump, and whether her ex-boss looked “confused” to her at the forum.
“[H]e seemingly, to me, looked like he had a cold,” Jean-Pierre said.
Greenberg shot back: “So, when he said, ‘We finally beat Medicare,’ that’s indicative of a cold to you?”
“I think he was sick,” Jean-Pierre insisted. “I can’t speak to what was — I can’t speak to, like, what he was thinking at the time.
“He said it was a bad night. He said it was a bad performance.”
For a supposed communications professional, Jean-Pierre’s answers were awful, and how can anyone take her seriously with responses like that? A cold?
We noted that, earlier in the week, with her brutal interview in the New Yorker. It had the internet laughing, as the reporter kept trying to ask her simple questions that she didn’t seem to be able to answer in a coherent manner.
