
Trustible and Carahsoft Announce Strategic Partnership to Bring AI Governance Platform to Government Agencies
JONATHAN Trajano topped the Inter-Sports Chess Tournament held on Monday at the Manotoc Covered Court in Barangay Sto. Nino, Marikina City.
Trajano scored 6.5 points to rule the 30-under division of the chess competition organized by the Marikina Chess Association (MCA) and held in partnership with the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Sto. Nino.

Christian Bonto finished with 4.5 points to secure second place. Clarence Mendoza and Warren Pajo netted 4.0 apiece to claim third and fourth places, respectively, and Jese Borras landed in the No. 5 spot with 3.5 points.
“We hold this tournament for the youth, who are not only the future of this country but also the driving force of the present generation,” said MCA president Johnny “Joel” Gaudia.

“The lessons and discipline they learn in chess are useful tools in dealing with everyday life.”
Also present at the opening ceremony of the tournament were barangay captain Zaldy Josef, SK chairman Aljana Santos and barangay councilors (kagawad) Carding Chavez, Charmaine Navarro, Roy Delgado and VJ Sabiniano, among others.

In the above-30 division, the top three finishers were Mark Mesina, who finished with 6.0 points and Edmundo Obelidor and Roberto Loredo, who both scored 5.0 points.
Trophies, medals and a cash purse of P8,500 were distributed to the winners.
