The BIOCEV Board is seeking an accomplished and visionary Scientific Director for the BIOCEV Center (Biotechnology and Biomedicine Center of the Academy of Sciences and Charles University).
The successful candidate will demonstrate an outstanding scientific track record, proven leadership skills, and a clear commitment to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration in order to advance cutting-edge research and innovation.

The Scientific Director serves as the official representative of BIOCEV to the public, local authorities, policymakers, and international stakeholders, drawing upon his or her scientific expertise. He or she oversees the BIOCEV operational team, supports research and community activities, and reports directly to the BIOCEV Council, the supreme governing authority of the center. The Scientific Director does not exercise executive authority.
