Rylan Clark has made his relationship with boyfriend Kennedy official on Instagram, posting romantic snaps from their recent getaway to Florence in Italy.
The This Morning host, 36, couldn’t contain his excitement about the romantic break as he shared glimpses of their Italian escape with Kennedy.
Pictures captured Rylan and his new partner enjoying a glass of red wine whilst peering through a traditional buchette del vino wine window. A tender black and white image revealed the couple’s intertwined hands, whilst Rylan also included various sightseeing shots in his Instagram carousel.
Rylan, who recently found himself at the centre of an Ofcom controversy over his immigration remarks, wrote in the caption: “A few days in Florence with you. Popped into see Elizabeth and thank her for being part of our grand tour and had to see the Artemisia Gentileschi and thank her for being part of the bafta . A beautiful few days x”, reports the Mirror.
Supporters expressed their delight at seeing Rylan find romance again after his marriage to Dan Neal ended in 2021. One fan enthused: “So happy for you both” accompanied by two red heart emojis.
“I’m so genuinely happy for you and Kennedy. You both deserve every bit of happiness together, and it’s so lovely to see. Wishing you nothing but the best on this journey”, another commented.
A third supporter penned: “Yay! Don’t even know you personally but have seen the interviews and your honesty. You made it to new chapters darling xxxx”.
Rylan’s Instagram post follows his revelation that his new partner has become the first bloke he’s brought home to meet the family since his marriage to Dan Neal ended. The presenter and Dan called time on their relationship in 2021 after Rylan admitted to being unfaithful during the early stages of their romance.
Four years after their devastating break-up, Rylan disclosed last month that he’s found love again. He made the announcement during a chat with Louis Theroux on his podcast How To Be In Love.
The TV star confessed: “At this time, I’m very happy. Recently, I have gotten into a relationship, and it’s great, and it feels very different to anything I’ve had before, which is a good sign to me.
“It’s the first person I’ve met in four years that I’ve introduced to my family. I’m happy. I’ve not done probably what I should-slash-did do – which is not really go to restaurants, not really do this and want to keep it on the quiet – I’ve done the opposite.
“I’ve been so blatant about it no one’s noticed, which I’m sort of a little bit cocky at and I’m going to own.
“But I thought I’m not going to… just because of my job and i don’t want people finding out, I’m not going to miss out on this part.
“I’m loving what I’ve got at the minute and I want to keep it that way.”
Supporters had been speculating that Rylan might be romantically linked with Rob Rinder after the duo presented Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour in 2024, with their latest programme, Rob and Rylan’s Passage to India, highlighting their strong friendship.
During the initial series, the duo opened up about their respective relationship breakdowns and by the finale, they had revealed they’d become “best friends” – though viewers were hoping romance might blossom.
Speaking recently to Bella magazine about their bond, Rylan explained: “We went into Grand Tour as acquaintances and left as friends. We’ve gone into A Passage to India as best friends and left as best friends.”
Rylan added: “Much as I love him, Rob isn’t my boyfriend. I love him too much to marry him.”
