Chelsea have added Juventus star Kenan Yildiz to their list of transfer targets and believe he’s capable of transforming their squad according to reports.

The Blues had a busy summer in which they made six first team signings, with five of those attackers as the frontline underwent a major revamp.

Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, Alejandro Garnacho and Facundo Buonanotte all arrived to give Chelsea a wealth of options in the final third.

The window might be closed, but Chelsea confirmed the signing of Strasbourg striker Emanuel Emegha on Friday on a pre-agreement for next summer.

Emegha has penned a seven year contract at Stamford Bridge, and the Blues reportedly expect him to be ready to play in the Premier League next season.

Despite signing a a number of attackers Chelsea continue to be linked with names, and Tutto Mercato Web have reported the Blues have added Yildiz to their list of targets.

The report states Chelsea believe Yildiz has the capabilities of transforming their squad, whilst Liverpool, Arsenal and Barcelona have also shown prior interest.

Chelsea were linked with Yildiz in the summer, and the Turkey international is a left winger, who can also play across the frontline.

Yildiz has made a strong start to the season with two assists in the first two Serie A games, and is one of Juventus’ best players.

Whilst there was believed to be interest in Yildiz, Chelsea never made an offer for the 20-year-old, and instead signed two other left wingers.

Chelsea first signed Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund, who made his debut on the opening day against Crystal Palace, before adding Alejandro Garnacho later in the window.

Garnacho could make his debut against Brentford on Saturday, and it will be interesting to see how the battle for the left wing spot goes throughout the season.
