The EuroMillions draw for Friday night resulted in no overall jackpot winner, despite a substantial prize of €29 million. However, over 51,000 players in Ireland won various prizes, including €5,000 for 10 Ireland Only Raffle winners. The main draw and EuroMillions Plus draw also saw numerous smaller wins, with the National Lottery urging players to check their tickets.
The winning numbers for Friday night’s EuroMillions draw are in. There was no outright winner of the eyewatering €29,158,205 jackpot – but 75 Irish players will be celebrating after scooping wins in the thousands.
Despite the hefty jackpot, the main draw was stunningly underwhelming, with the most any Irish player won being just €86. This was scooped by 19 players who matched four of the five numbers, and one of the two lucky stars. Similarly the EuroMillions Plus draw so no winner of its €500,000 top prize, but 65 players were fortunate to win €2,000 each by picking four of the five numbers. The Ireland Only Raffle was where the real excitement happened, as 10 players each won €5,000 after having their winning raffle tickets drawn. In total, more than 51,000 players across Ireland walked away with prizes in Friday night’s EuroMillions and Plus draws. National Lottery bosses are appealing for everyone to check their numbers carefully. A spokesperson said: ‘There was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot.
