
Popular Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda tragically passed away on October 8 following severe head injuries from a bike accident in Himachal Pradesh. His funeral took place in his hometown, Pona, with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, celebrities, and thousands of fans in attendance to bid an emotional farewell to the 35-year-old artist.

Several popular celebrities and politicians were spotted at the site to pay their last respects to the late singer.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also attended the cremation and paid his last respects.
CM Bhagwant Mann mourned the death on his social media, “Rajveer Jawanda, the esteemed artist of Punjabi mother tongue, passed away for a century last day, the loss is irreparable for the family and the music world. Today attended Rajveer Jawanda’s ancestral village Pona (Jagraon) and shared condolences with the family.”
He also shared a series of pictures from the last rites.
Singers Jasbir Jassi, Harbhajan Mann, Resham Anmol, actor Karamjit Anmol, and others were among those in attendance, joining fans and family in mourning the 35-year-old artist’s premature passing.
Thousands of people lined up to get a last look at Rajvir’s mortal remains, which were made placed to the public for his fans. The cremation ceremony started after 11 am.
Rajvir’s cremation and final rites notably took place at the same place where he gave his first stage performance.
A video of Rajvir Jawanda’s mortal remains being delivered to his village had previously gone viral. Numerous admirers were spotted gathering to offer the renowned singer their final respects. Fans, followers, and well-wishers were shocked to learn of Rajvir’s passing.

Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda died after following a serious road accident in Himachal Pradesh that left him on a ventilator for the previous eleven days.
He was placed on life support after suffering severe head and spinal injuries on September 27 near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.
The well-known singer reportedly lost control of his motorcycle near Baddi in the Solan district while travelling to Shimla.
