Paxos has tapped three fast-growing networks as the initial launch venues for its new omnichain stablecoin, positioning USDG0 to deliver regulated liquidity across multiple ecosystems.
According to a Nov. 24 press release from Plume, the network will join Hyperliquid and Aptos as primary launch partners for USDG0 — the omnichain version of Paxos’s regulated USDG stablecoin, built using LayerZero’s omnichain-fungible token (OFT) standard.
Paxos expands USDG0 across three high-growth networks
USDG0 maintains the same fully backed 1:1 reserve model as USDG, supported by cash, short-term U.S. Treasuries and cash equivalents, with monthly attestations by Withum. Paxos describes the token as a unified, chain-agnostic version of USDG that can move natively across networks without relying on wrapped assets or fragmented liquidity pools.
The structure locks USDG in audited contracts and mints USDG0 on destination chains, ensuring regulatory clarity while enabling seamless cross-chain mobility.
Plume said its role as a launch partner positions it as a distribution hub for compliant liquidity. The network has amassed more than 280,000 active real-world asset (RWA) holders and $645 million in RWA TVL within five months of going live, creating a sizable retail and institutional base for USDG0. The team added that the stablecoin offers Treasury-aligned yield, deeper DeFi liquidity, and simplified global access.
Hyperliquid’s contribution centers on derivatives. The decentralized perpetuals exchange plans to integrate USDG0 into yield-aligned trading pairs, lending markets, and collateral systems for active traders. Governance is also preparing programs to expand its use across perpetuals and on-chain funding markets.
Aptos becomes the first network to support a Move-native OFT stablecoin through LayerZero. The Aptos Foundation said the integration will power enterprise-facing applications and leverage the chain’s throughput and compliance-oriented design to draw institutional liquidity. Paxos sees Aptos as a natural fit for institutional settlement infrastructure.
LayerZero integrations drive the rollout
The launch comes with supporting infrastructure, including the USDG0 Portal for cross-chain swaps, low-fee APIs for high-volume transactions, and unified supply controls across all supported networks. Paxos is also exploring additional integrations on Solana, Ethereum, Ink, and X Layer.
By distributing USDG0 across three specialized ecosystems — enterprise settlement on Aptos, derivatives on Hyperliquid, and RWAs on Plume — Paxos expects to drive early adoption while paving a regulated path for broader future expansion.
