WOOD COUNTY, Ohio — An overnight pursuit ended with a crash in Wood County.
Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) told WTOL 11 they were involved in a chase after a driver allegedly fled northbound on I-75 and crossed over the median driving the wrong way against traffic.
Troopers then intentionally rammed the vehicle to disable the car. This caused a closure of the southbound lanes for nearly a half hour.
The driver and one trooper were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Two OSHP vehicles were towed away due to the damage from the collision.
