A man was arrested after two people were hospitalised following a series of assaults in south Dublin.
Gardai received reports that a number of people had been approached and assaulted by a lone male on foot on Kimmage Road Lower shortly after 4pm on Tuesday, October 1. The suspect, late 20s, was arrested and is currently in Garda custody.
A woman, 70s, and a man, 30s, were taken to hospital for assessment following the attack. A Garda spokesman said: “Investigations are ongoing. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Crumlin Garda Station on (01) 666 6200 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.”
