LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Larry Combest Community Health and Wellness Center recently hosted an open house, inviting community members to tour the facility and learn more about the services it provides.
From primary care and prenatal support to diabetes education and behavioral health, the clinic serves patients of all ages, regardless of income or insurance status.
Staff also highlighted the Senior House Calls program, which brings care directly into the homes of older adults, and other resources like transportation and prescription assistance.
“People all have needs whether they have money or not. Needs that need to be taken care of and people with limited resources need extra help,” Senior Director of Senior House Calls Sally Coates said.
The clinic accepts Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP and most private insurance plans. A sliding fee scale is also available based on income, and walk-ins are welcome.
