Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi is expected to visit Adiala Prison in Rawalpindi on Tuesday to meet Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.
According to party sources, Imran Khan coordinator Ali Zafar has submitted the names of the chief minister and other visitors to the prison authorities for clearance. Tuesday was designated as the official meeting day of the PTI founder at Adiala jail.
Among those who will accompany the chief minister are Barrister Gohar, Salman Akram Raja and Mashal Yousafzai. Besides, lawyers Uzair Bhandari and Hasnain Sumbal are also in the list of approved visitors.
Family members of Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi are also expected to meet him during the planned visit. The meeting will focus on political developments and party-related issues as the PTI leadership continues to engage with its founder amid ongoing legal proceedings.
