KONE Corporation, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, has
won an order to provide a suite of People Flow® solutions for the future line C
of the Toulouse Metro. This 27-kilometer line will serve the Airbus site and the
university zone.
Built and operated by Tisséo, line C will connect Colomiers station to Labège,
with connections to five SNCF stations. This fully automated metro line will
facilitate the daily journeys of 200,000 passengers.

Toulouse’s suburban areas and the city center, this metro line will
significantly improve the daily lives of commuters. We are proud to deliver our

mobility experience.”
KONE will equip 21 stations in total. The order includes a total of 90 KONE
TransitMaster™ escalators and four KONE TransitMaster™ sidewalks.
“An entire year was devoted to this project, with significant preparatory work
involving design offices. We demonstrated our seriousness by matching the
client’s needs with the right expertise. With a dedicated team and the
mobilization of all our resources – factory, sourcing – we are fully equipped to
support them,” stated Geoffroy Besnard, Regional Director for Western France,
Belgium, and Luxembourg at KONE.
KONE booked the order in Q1 of 2025. The commissioning is scheduled for 2028.
