She’s the monotone momfluencer who became an internet sensation thanks to her awkward interviews with rap royalty.
But now, Bobbi Althoff’s brand of blasé humor may have finally run its course.
Last week, the 27-year-old announced the end of her once-popular podcast, The Really Good Podcast.
‘I didn’t know I’d fall off as quickly as I did. To be honest, I did think this was going to last a bit longer,’ she admitted in the final episode.
‘But nevertheless, it lasted a minute and I’m proud of the accomplishments I had and I’m pretty sad that it has to end like this but it’s okay.’
It comes just over two years after Althoff’s deadpan interview with Drake turned her into one of the biggest stars on the internet.
The interview, which was released in July 2023, racked up close to 10 million views in just one month and turned the mom-of-two into social media’s most viral comedian.
Interviews with Mark Cuban, Offset, Scarlett Johansson, Shaquille O’Neal soon followed, as well as lucrative brand deals and a spot on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list.

However, Bobbi’s rise to fame has been far from smooth sailing, with the influencer sparking waves of backlash almost immediately after her breakout moment.
The first hiccup was a public falling out with Drake, which led to their viral episode being wiped from Althoff’s channel.
The pair unfollowed each other on social media and in 2024 Althoff was allegedly removed from the rapper’s after party at the South by Southwest festival in Texas.
Around the same time, she was accused by critics of being an ‘industry plant,’ due to the fact that she’d been able to start booking A-list guests on her podcast so soon.
Althoff jokingly confirmed to Keke Palmer that she was an industry plant in a podcast interview last year, and has also made light of the accusations on TikTok before.
Her personal life then took a serious hit in February 2024 when her husband Cory filed for divorce after four years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
He listed their official separation date as July, 2023, which aligned with the timing of her viral Drake interview.
The split led to the star being trolled on social media, which she addressed in a fiery post last year.

‘Do you really believe that it was my dream in life to be a divorced mom of two kids by 25? Obviously not,’ she wrote.
‘I’m obviously insecure about it and wish things played out differently in my life. But that’s life, things don’t always end up how we expect them to.’
Around the same time, she was seen partying in a Nashville nightclub with comedian Ben Da Donnn, just moments before being carried out slumped over the shoulder of an NFL star.
Althoff was also forced to deny cruel claims by trolls that she had been sleeping with her male podcast guests and that it had contributed to the demise of her marriage.
‘I never respond to this comment that I’ve been getting a million times a day for the last year, but I am really sick of seeing it,’ she raged.
‘Anyone who says stuff like this is so f****** ignorant. You don’t know why my marriage ended, that we are both so much happier apart than we ever were together. That now our kids get to see two happy parents instead of zero.’
She continued, ‘I have never slept with someone I interviewed. I don’t sleep around and I rarely ever go out. But you guys can’t f****** believe that a woman can be around men without sleeping with them.’

‘Honestly, I’m not surprised by your downfall,’ another commented, while a third wrote, ‘Wow she really wasn’t joking when she said she fell off. The difference in the numbers compared to just a year ago is staggering.’
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Althoff is now working on a TV comedy series after landing a development deal for her own show.
But Althoff isn’t the only viral influencer to see their fifteen minutes of fame come to an end.
Haliey Welch, better known as ‘the hawk tuah girl,’ has seen a huge dip in her own popularity following her highly publicized crypto scandal.
Her hit Talk Tuah podcast went on hiatus following the fallout from the scandal, and since returning the viewers and downloads have noticeably decreased compared to before.
In an interview with Vanity Fair in May, the 22-year-old said that her feelings had been ‘hurt’ by the controversy, which resulted in many of her fans losing money on her ill-fated $HAWK memecoin.
‘Half of those people that done it were, like, my fans. They trusted me, like, guiding them to it,’ she told the publication.
‘And I don’t know… it really hurt my feelings when it turned out the way it did. I wish it hadn’t have happened.’

Elaborating further, Welch admitted that she didn’t really even ‘understand’ crypto but had learned a valuable lesson from the ordeal.
‘You got to be really careful what you tie your name to, and you definitely need to know what you’re getting yourself into when you agree to do it. That’s something I definitely should have done beforehand,’ she said.
‘I just feel really bad for anybody that lost money. All my comments, if you read those, people are like, “Oh, well, I lost a lot of money in this. Now my kids have to go without stuff.” I don’t know. It makes me feel, like, really sorry for it.’
The group behind the social media star’s memecoin – which dramatically crashed just hours after its launch – was sued last year after failing to register the cryptocurrency, according to court records.
Although Welch herself wasn’t named in the lawsuit, the backlash she received following the crypto crash caused her to exit the public eye for months.
