However, Inter continued as they left off in the first half. Hakan Calhanoglu assisted Marcus Thuram to double the Nerazzurri’s lead.
Ajax barely created anything. Inter controlled the procedure and were able to win without much drama.
Therefore, the match ended with a 2-0 win away to Ajax.

Furthermore, the season in Europe is off to a great start. Three points, two goals scored and none conceded. The last point is particularly important given the criticism levelled at Yann Sommer.
In conclusion, Inter Milan now have to get the Serie A season back on track after two losses. The Nerazzurri host Sassuolo on 21st September, Sunday night at 20.45 CET.
