Identity of Kojonup woman alleged to have possessed a big amount of meth with intent to sell revealedHannah WhiteheadGreat Southern HeraldSat, 22 November 2025 3:00PMEmail Hannah Whitehead

The identity of a Kojonup woman accused of possessing a significant amount of methamphetamine with the intent to sell it has been revealed after she made her first appearance in court this week.

Cinnamon Smith Manihera, 32, appeared in Katanning Magistrates Court on Tuesday for her first hearing since she was arrested in early October.

She was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell or supply, possession of methamphetamine and cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property.

Kojonup police said Ms Manihera was a passenger in a vehicle they pulled over for a traffic stop on Kojonup-Katanning Road about 10.30pm on October 6.

Police allege they found and seized a significant amount of drugs, drug paraphernalia and stolen items.

During her appearance, police prosecutor Sgt Dylan Fisher applied to revoke Ms Manihera’s bail because she had breached a condition by not reporting to police on October 17.

Ms Manihera had been arrested for the breach the morning of her appearance.

Defence lawyer Lucy Bourne told the court that it was an unintentional breach by her client, who had to take care of her deceased friend’s child last minute and simply forgot to report.

Magistrate Joanne Andretich decided not to revoke bail since it was Ms Manihera’s first breach.

Ms Andretich warned the accused to be extremely careful regarding bail conditions in the future.

Ms Manihera will next appear in Katanning Magistrates Court on January 20 for legal advice.
