It’s been a few days since Samsung confirmed its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2026. It’s no surprise that we’ll be seeing the Galaxy S26 series at the event.
This may sound rather basic, it’s just another flagship phone launch after all, but there are several reasons why you should be excited about Galaxy Unpacked 2026, as our friends over at SamMobile TV explain in the latest video.
There’s no reason why you shouldn’t be excited for the Galaxy S26 trio. Samsung is retaining the lineup we’re familiar with, despite earlier rumors that the Galaxy S26+ will be replaced with the Galaxy S26 Edge. That’s not happening.
There is a lot to be excited about the new AI features that Samsung is building into the devices. The company’s vision is to deliver a seamless AI experience that actively works in the background to make your life easier. It will be great to see how the new AI features Samsung is working on turn out.
There are a lot of hardware-related upgrades that Samsung is introducing with the new lineup, including a new privacy display, which would only add to the desirability of its top-of-the-line flagship.
It’s also worth being excited about the full version of One UI 8.5 that drops with the Galaxy S26 series. We’ve seen bits and pieces of what’s to come with this update so it would be nice to see the final version as well.
