U.S. National Parks offer free admission to everyone during certain days in 2026. The first of the free entrance days is February 16: Presidents Day.
Presidents Day commemorates George Washington’s birthday, which was February 22, 1732, but the national holiday is recognized on a Monday to offer a three-day weekend.
On this day, all National Park Service sites that normally charge an entrance fee will offer free admission. However, other fees may apply.
