Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said the people of the state have formed a “non-stop government” for the third consecutive time, and this government will leave no stone unturned in ensuring holistic development.
Saini urged the people of the state not to be swayed by the Opposition’s propaganda and counter it with facts.

The chief minister was addressing members of the OBC community at Sant Kabir Kutir here on Sunday. The community members had gathered to express their gratitude for the welfare schemes launched by the state government for their benefit.
Saini stated that under previous governments, vacancies reserved for the OBCs were often left unfilled under the pretext of “no suitable candidates”. However, the current government has appointed professors, doctors, and engineers from the OBC community, proving that the community has always been capable. The issue, he said, was not competence but the lack of political will by earlier regimes.
On being honoured with a traditional turban by the OBC community, the chief minister said he would always uphold the dignity associated with this honour. He added that he regularly seeks guidance from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is committed to ensuring equitable development across the state.
He further said that Haryana is witnessing a positive transformation in the fields of education and employment, with recruitment now based on merit. The system is being reformed for transparency and fairness.
He also shared that for the upcoming CET examinations on July 26 and 27, the government is arranging free transportation for candidates from their homes to the examination centres and back. Additionally, female candidates will be allowed to bring one family member along for safety.
Speaking on the occasion, Public Works Minister Ranbir Gangwa said while the OBC community comprises hardworking and skilled individuals, they had historically faced discrimination. The present government, he noted, is running several welfare schemes for the upliftment of underprivileged and backward sections. He also thanked the chief minister for raising the income limit for the OBC Creamy Layer from ₹6 lakh to ₹8 lakh, in line with the Central Government’s policy.
Rajya Sabha MP Ramchander Jangra described the large gathering of OBC community at the chief minister’s residence as a “Mahakumbh” which reflected the community’s satisfaction with the government’s policies. He added that the present administration, inspired by the philosophies of great social reformers like Jyotiba Phule and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, is dedicated to uplifting the poorest sections of society.
Others who addressed the event included the Chief Minister’s wife, Suman Saini; CM’s OSD Bharat Bhushan Bharti; former Mayor Madan Chauhan; and Jawahar Saini. Dignitaries present at the event included Satbir Verma, Devender Panchal, Yashpal, Jai Singh Paul, Shyamlal Jangra, Ramchandra Kamboj, Poonam Saini, Sharda Yadav, and Nirmal Bairagi among others.
