DRMA targets sales close to IDR 6 trillion in 2026

DRMA remains optimistic for 2026, eyeing IDR 6 trillion in sales despite pressure in the industry.

JAKARTA – PT Dharma Polimetal Tbk (DRMA) is confident of sustaining performance growth in 2026, even as the national automotive industry remains under pressure, particularly in the four-wheel vehicle segment.

The company is targeting sales of close to IDR 6 trillion, supported by the development of new programmes and improving export performance.

DRMA’s head of business development, Eko Maryanto, said the company’s formal sales budget stands at around IDR 5.8 trillion, although it has set a higher internal target.

“Budget-wise it is around IDR 5.8 trillion, but our internal target is to approach IDR 6 trillion. In 2026 we are still targeting growth compared with 2025,” Eko said during a doorstop interview with IDNFinancials.com at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026 at JIEXPO Kemayoran on Friday (13/2).

Eko acknowledged that the four-wheel automotive market remains under considerable pressure, while the two-wheel segment is relatively more stable.

Nevertheless, DRMA sees growth opportunities from new development programmes currently under way.

Beyond the domestic market, DRMA has recorded higher exports to the United States, despite reciprocal tariffs and taxes.

“Exports to the US are still increasing compared with the previous year. Even with tariffs and taxes, customers continue sourcing from DRMA due to our quality and supply continuity,” Eko said.

On another front, the company reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the acceleration of the national energy transition and strengthening Indonesia’s electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem.

This is reflected in the development of locally produced fast-charging stations for EVs with a high level of domestic content (TKDN).

The initiative aligns with the government’s agenda to reduce carbon emissions, accelerate EV adoption, and build a sustainable EV ecosystem in Indonesia.

“This step represents our support for government policies aimed at increasing the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) of electric vehicles and reducing dependence on imports,” said DRMA president director Irianto Santoso in an official statement on Friday (13/2).

Management also showcased a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) integrated with the company’s charging stations.

In addition, DRMA continues to push for the acceleration of two-wheel vehicle conversion from internal combustion engine (ICE) models to electric vehicles, which it considers more suited to the characteristics of Indonesia’s automotive market.

The company provides conversion services from two-wheel ICE vehicles to EVs as part of its integrated Dharma Connect – DC Cross ecosystem. (DK/SF/ZH)
