ESPN and UEFA are joining forces in a new agreement that makes the ESPN family of networks the exclusive home of the 2025 UEFA European Women’s Championship across Spanish-speaking Latin America.
As part of the new agreement, Spanish-speaking fans from Mexico down to Argentina can catch every match on ESPN’s TV channels and stream them on Disney+. From July 2 through July 27, Europe’s top 16 national teams will go head‑to‑head in Switzerland during the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, and viewers throughout Mexico, Central America and South America can watch wall‑to‑wall live Spanish-language broadcasts, pre‑ and post‑match analysis, and feature stories that dive into the players, teams, and pivotal moments of the tournament on Disney+.
“The UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 is one of the most prestigious tournaments in international soccer and a milestone event in the global women’s sports calendar,” Bruno Zurlo, Senior Vice President & General Manager of Sports for Latin America, Disney. “This agreement reflects our continued commitment to elevating women’s sports and expanding access to world-class competition. As the women’s game continues to grow, ESPN remains at the forefront by delivering high-quality coverage and storytelling that connects fans across the region.”
ESPN’s coverage will feature renowned analysts and former players who will break down tactics, highlight rising stars, and preview each fixture. Additionally, the network will air dedicated studio shows with daily recaps, behind‑the‑scenes segments, and interviews with coaches and athletes that bring viewers closer to the action.
This year’s UEFA Women’s EURO will be held across eight host cities in Switzerland. Defending champions England, hosts Switzerland, heavyweights France, Germany, Spain, and 12 more nations battle for the trophy. A record €41 million purse, up 156% from the last tournament, underscores UEFA’s investment in women’s soccer.
Over the next four years, ESPN and Disney+ will also air UEFA’s men’s and women’s Under‑17 and Under‑19 championships, the men’s Under‑21 event, and both men’s and women’s Futsal EURO tournaments. Subscribers in Latin America have more opportunities to follow tomorrow’s stars today, and ESPN and Disney are reaffirming their commitment to growing the women’s game in the region.
