A motivational speaker who featured on BBC Panorama is set to headline a major business event.
Entrepreneur Brad Burton will deliver the keynote address at The South West Expo, taking place at the STEAM Museum in Swindon on Thursday, July 10.
Mr Burton recently appeared on Panorama, where he spoke about his experience as a victim of online stalking — something he has endured for the past four years.
Despite the challenges, he has used the experience to fuel his work as a motivational speaker.
Mr Burton said: “You may have seen the headlines, but now you’ll hear the full story.
“What I’ve been through is real — and if it helps just one person in that room to move forward, it’s worth it.”
He will share his personal journey at the networking breakfast that will open the expo.
His talk is expected to focus on resilience, mindset, and how personal challenges can lead to professional growth.
Mr Burton is known for his direct and relatable style, and has worked with some of the world’s largest brands.
Organisers say his keynote will be honest, impactful, and delivered with humour.
The main expo will begin at 10am and will feature exhibitors, expert-led sessions, and networking opportunities.
It is designed to help businesses across the South West connect, learn, and grow.
A spokesman for the event said: “Whether you’re a start-up, SME, or established business looking to grow, this is your opportunity to gain valuable knowledge, forge powerful connections, and take your business to the next level.”
The event is free to attend and is expected to attract hundreds of business leaders and entrepreneurs from across the region.
Attendees are encouraged to register in advance.
The expo is part of the wider South West business calendar and aims to support economic growth and collaboration in the region.
Organisers say it offers a platform for businesses to showcase their products and services, explore new opportunities, and hear from industry experts.
Mr Burton’s appearance follows his recent media coverage, including interviews on Good Morning Britain and other national platforms.
His story has resonated with many, and organisers believe his message of overcoming adversity will inspire those in attendance.
The South West Expo is open to businesses of all sizes and sectors.
