A CAFE ‘that makes people smile the moment they walk in’ has opened at Evesham Train Station.
Expresso Stop opened on Friday (February 20) at Evesham Train Station, and staff surprised at the level of support the shop has already had.
Agata Wiosna, owner of Expresso Stop, said: “I used to work here 20 years ago, but the shop has been closed for a long time, and I thought it would be good to get it up and running again.
“It makes Evesham a bit more attractive and welcoming for tourists and visitors. GWR agreed to support it, and now we are up and running. We have been quite busy, which is quite surprising because it is completely different from before. We were busy on Saturday when previous Saturdays were completely dead. We are open Monday to Saturday until 4pm, but we are thinking of extending until 5pm.
“People have been very welcoming, and they are happy that they can now get a coffee and a snack at the train station. Loads of people have said hello, which is nice. I also run Thermomix in town, so cooking and catering are something which I enjoy. We want to use all local suppliers, and all my friends have been commenting on how exciting it is. It’s a really nice place, not just for people using the trains but for anyone passing by.
“We wanted to design a space that makes people smile the moment they walk in. Whether you’re grabbing a quick drink before your train or meeting a friend, we want the café to feel like a warm, welcoming pause in your day.”
