The Bahrain Chamber has launched the fourth edition of its “Experience It” program, offering students aged 15 to 18 hands-on experience in the private sector. Running from August 3 to 21, 2025, the program aims to enhance students’ practical skills, prepare them for the workforce, and expose them to real-world job environments.

As part of the Chamber’s strategy to empower youth and support national development goals, the initiative allows students to explore different career paths, build workplace readiness, and gain guidance that helps shape their professional future. An orientation session was held for selected students and their parents to explain the program’s objectives and structure.

This year’s program features a range of fields aligned with market needs, including investment, engineering and technology innovation, leadership and entrepreneurship, and photography and video production.

Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Sameer Nass, described the program as a vital step in preparing the next generation for professional success. He stressed that it reflects the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to nurturing national talent and supporting Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030. He stated that giving young Bahrainis the opportunity to explore careers up close helps them develop a realistic understanding of the workplace and challenges outdated perceptions of certain professions.

The three-week program starts with workshops and introductory sessions, followed by two weeks of hands-on training at private companies. Students are placed in real work settings to help them engage directly with professionals and better understand industry expectations.

Nass also praised the role of participating companies, noting their contribution in hosting students and providing motivating environments that encourage learning and growth.

To ensure transparency and fairness in the selection process, the Chamber organized interviews and assessments to choose 34 students out of over 130 applicants. The process focused on identifying those most prepared to benefit from this unique experience.
