From a hotly-anticipated Netflix rom-com to a star-studded buddy comedy, here’s a list of some of the best films hitting our screens this month.

Cast is rounded out by Eddie Marsan, Suki Waterhouse, Burn Gorman, Tienne Simon and Rory Kinnear.
Directed by Barnaby Roper, All the Devils Are Here had its premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in August 2025, where it was presented as “a gripping portrait of moral unravelling building towards an explosive reckoning”.
It earned mixed reviews, receiving praise for its “gusty” performances and “pitch-black character study” (via San Jose Mercury News).
Mike Flanagan returns with a fantasy drama led by Tom Hiddleston as the eponymous hero, Charles ‘Chuck’ Krantz, a dancing-loving accountant whose life holds the key to the universe.
Told in reverse chronological order, the film follows Chuck in different phases of his life, starting with his death and going back to his childhood and adolescence, where the character is played by Jacob Tremblay.
Narrated by Nick Offerman, The Life of Chuck has a stacked cast joining Hiddleston, with stars including Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, and Mark Hamill.
The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2024 before hitting cinemas in August last year.
Streaming on Netflix on 5 January.
Based on the 2021 novel of the same name, People We Meet on Vacation is one of the hottest titles releasing on Netflix this year.
Starring Tom Blyth and Emily Bader as friends-to-lovers-to-who-knows Alex Nilsen and Poppy Wright, the rom-com spans years in the duo’s life as they holiday together.
Catch real-life bestie duo Ben Affleck and Matt Damon share the screen once again in The Rip, a Miami-based thriller releasing on Netflix.
The film follows a group of Miami cops who discovers an eye-popping stash of millions in cash and had to look over their shoulder as outsiders and supposed friends alike learn about the huge seizure.
Also starring are Teyana Taylor, Steven Yeun, Sasha Calle and Kyle Chandler.
Streaming on Netflix on 16 January.
