Wrexham has acquired forward Ryan Hardie from Plymouth Argyle for an undisclosed fee.Hardie, 28, brings critically important experience to Wrexham as they prepare for their upcoming Championship season.He previously played for Plymouth for five and a half years, initially on loan before making a permanent move.
During his time with the Pilgrims, Hardie scored 74 goals in 248 appearances. he played a key role in their promotions to League One in 2020 and the Championship in 2023. Despite his 12 goals last season, including a notable FA Cup goal against Liverpool, he couldn’t prevent Plymouth’s relegation.
Wrexham, fresh off their own promotion to the Championship, aims to leverage hardie’s experience in the second tier.
