Yup. Nicholas is a photographer who takes photos of insects sitting on his face.
So it turns out that Nicholas’s story goes even deeper. He is a photographer and once an arachnophobe himself. But he has now turned that fear into a fascinating project.

These iconic photos of all sizes of insects just calmly chilling on his cheeks or nose are part shock and part education.
Nicholas has grown up in Maine and, like all of us, has lived alongside these bugs. Now, he’s using his creativity and platform to encourage other people to also let go of their fears and embrace them instead, saying:
Having grown up in rural Maine, I have lived alongside these wonderful critters my whole life. I understand the fear people have for them because I felt it too at one point.
