Ondo Finance announced today that WisdomTree, a global asset manager overseeing $131 billion in assets, has officially joined the Ondo Global Markets Alliance.
This milestone builds on WisdomTree’s prior involvement with Ondo Finance in an advisory capacity during the creation of Ondo Chain, the Layer 1 blockchain launched earlier this year.
As a formal member of the Alliance, WisdomTree is expected to take on a more active role in supporting the initiative’s mission to strengthen interoperability, liquidity, and regulatory compliance for tokenized real-world assets on Ondo’s Global Markets platform.
About Ondo’s Global Markets Alliance
Launched in June by Ondo Finance, the Global Markets Alliance is a collaborative ecosystem where members work together to advance operations on the Ondo Global Markets platform. As of August 1, the Alliance included 25 members, with recent additions such as BNB Chain, Bitget Global, Zodia Custody, LayerZero, Euler, and MEXC.
Alliance members contribute distinct expertise across the ecosystem. Exchanges deliver liquidity and trading infrastructure for tokenized assets, while custodians safeguard both on-chain and off-chain holdings. Blockchain and infrastructure providers like BNB Chain and LayerZero supply technical support, interoperability solutions, and scalability. Asset managers—now including WisdomTree—offer guidance on compliance, investment strategy, and tokenization standards, helping bridge the gap between traditional finance and on-chain markets.
