WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAW) – The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department is again asking the public for assistance in locating Brian Baltus.
Baltus was reported missing by his family on January 16. Since then, the WRPD has followed up on several leads, worked with other agencies, and conducted numerous interviews but have not been able to locate Baltus.
Baltus has been sighted several times in the community by video surveillance. On one occasion, he made contact with several of his associates using a ham radio he is believed to have in his possession. The police department says Baltus has not been driving and they do not believe he has his cell phone.
Police say those close to Baltus are deeply concerned for his well-being and have reported no previous behavior similar to this. Police are looking to make sure he is ok.
If you have any information, contact the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department directly at 715-423-4444 and reference case number 26-00775. Information can also be submitted anonymously through Wood County Crime Stoppers.
