Ann Michael Maye has been Drake Maye’s No. 1 fan long before he became a quarterback for the New England Patriots.
The pair — who are now married — are high school sweethearts, so Ann has been cheering on the athlete for years.
“WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!,” she proudly gushed via Instagram in January 2025, after the Patriots secured a spot in Super Bowl 2026 vs. the Seattle Seahawks.
“Words can’t even begin to describe how proud I am of you, #10!!!!” she continued.

Ann Michael and Drake met as teens while growing up in North Carolina.
They struck up a romance while both attending William A. Hough High School in Cornelius. Despite Drake eventually transferring to Myers Park High School, the two stuck together and continued their relationship through college.
The lovebirds both attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where Drake became one of the best UNC Tar Heels quarterbacks of all time.
Meanwhile, Ann Michael graduated in May 2025 with a degree in business administration, per her LinkedIn. Outside of academics, she was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority, serving as the Vice President of Finance.
Since graduating from UNC, Ann Michael has garnered almost half a million followers on TikTok and went viral for her “Bakemas” series.
Following the success of her holiday baking series, she signed a deal with NBC Sports Boston to host her own cooking segment, titled “Beyond Bakemas,” where she concocts different recipes each episode.
The show has featured special guests like Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy and Patriots football center David Andrews.
The quarterback made their relationship Instagram-official in 2020 with a sweet post for New Year’s.
“Bringing in ’20 with a 10,” he wrote alongside a photo of the two of them cuddling up.
The athlete popped the question in January 2025 with a romantic beachside proposal.
“Love doing life with you. Can’t wait to marry you!” Drake wrote in the caption of the carousel that showed the moment he dropped to one knee, followed by the pair posing by the water at sunset.
Ann Michael and Drake tied the knot on June 21, 2025, at the Grandfather Golf and Country Club in Linville, NC.
