For now, Warner Bros. Discovery has rejected the offer from Paramount Skydance Corporation to purchase the company.
Warner Bros. Discovery reportedly rejected the initial takeover offer from Paramount Skydance Corporation. According to a report from Bloomberg, WBD felt the offer, approximately $20 per share of the company, was too low.
It is also reported that Paramount still has several options to complete a takeover of Warner Bros., including raising the initial bid, contacting shareholders directly, or securing additional support from a financial partner.
It was initially reported in September that Paramount was looking to purchase the entire company, including the cable and movie studios.
All Elite Wrestling is under the Warner Bros. Discovery banner. Over the summer, Warner Bros. announced that in 2026, the company would be splitting into two.
