Although most directors now insist on early promotions, Vishwambhara, the Mallidi Vashishta directorial featuring Megastar Chiranjeevi, appears to be facing some issues there.
Even though the movie has been in production for some time, no official release date is announced yet, generating increasing anxiety among fans. The team has just finished filming a special song, and work on post-production is currently in progress. Meanwhile, director Vashishta has been providing a number of interviews over this time. Rather than building expectation, these interviews appear to reduce it.
Chiranjeevi’s fans are especially disturbed by the key details Vashishta has been spilling out about the story line, such as major storylines and the hero’s personality. By sharing such crucial information too early, the suspense and curiosity surrounding the movie are being lost. Fans are concerned that this might impact the overall effect of the film and are wondering why so many significant details are being leaked prior to release.
Worse still, the teaser of the film has also disappointed. The long-awaited visual effects (VFX) did not deliver what it promised, and this made many viewers disappointed. The producers clarified that the hasty VFX work was responsible for the disappointing outcome, which caused the film to be delayed in release. So far, the official release date is a secret.
Though shooting has been done, Vishwambhara has yet to receive a definite release date. The movie also features Ashika Ranganath, Trisha, Isha Chawla and is produced by UV Creations.
