M. Sribharat invites industry leaders to explore the emerging investment opportunities across the region and the State at large
Visakhapatnam MP M. Sribharat on Saturday (December 20, 2025) said that the NDA government is implementing investor-friendly policies across the State, guided by the twin principles of Ease of Doing Business and Speed of Doing Business, to attract and accelerate industrial investments. The MP was interacting with members of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) – Southern Regional Council at an informal meeting here on Saturday.
Referring to the recently conducted 30th CII Partnership Summit and announcement of the Visakhapatnam Economic Region (VER), Mr. Sribharat invited industry leaders to explore the emerging investment opportunities across the region and the State at large.
Drawing from his own prior experience in business and entrepreneurship, Mr. Sribharat shared insights on how government policies can effectively support and encourage the private sector. He also explained how excessive regulation, complex compliance requirements, and arbitrary enforcement mechanisms can hinder business growth. The interaction witnessed constructive discussions between policymakers and industry leaders on strengthening Visakhapatnam’s role as a key investment and economic growth hub in the region.
