In an old interview, Suma Kanakala, a popular host, once asked Vijay Deverakonda’s parents, Govardhan Rao and Madhavi, at the Geetha Govindam success meet in 2018, what they expected from their future daughter-in-law and hoped for their son’s marriage.
Vijay Deverakonda’s mother said that she only wanted a daughter-in-law who would love and care for her son. She also said that Vijay Deverakonda’s wife should be someone who would understand the demands of his job, as he is an actor.
Govardhan Rao, Vijay Deverakonda’s father, agreed with his wife and said that he did not care about the caste or religion of his future daughter-in-law, but he would like it if she were Indian and, even better, a South Indian girl. Virosh is a combination of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s first names.
