VeChain, a leading layer-1 blockchain focused on real-world applications, has unveiled the VeFounder Program in collaboration with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), according to a press release shared with crypto.news.
The initiative merges VeChain’s blockchain infrastructure with BCG’s business and strategic expertise, giving Web3 developers the chance to take control of pre-built dApps. Developers can eventually gain full ownership—including the dApp’s intellectual property and treasury—once the platform reaches 100,000 users. Participants also receive technical tools, operational guidance, and B3TR token rewards tied to user engagement and performance.
“The VeFounder Program redefines what it means to be a Web3 builder. Founders can take the reins of real, working dApps with active users, proven utility, and the full backing of our ecosystem,” said Sunny Lu, CEO of VeChain.
Three Live dApps Launch with VeFounder Program
The program kicks off with three active dApps designed to tackle real-world challenges:
- TrashDash: Rewards users in B3TR tokens for recycling and composting, verified through photo uploads.
- BiteGram: Offers nutrition insights while incentivizing users to share photos of healthy meals in exchange for token rewards.
- Bye Bye Bites: Encourages consumers to reduce food waste by rewarding purchases of nearly expired grocery items.
The application portal is now open, allowing developers and teams to take control of these dApps, expand their user base, and leverage support from both VeChain and BCG.
