
MANILA, Philippines — Valenzuela City on Friday announced the suspension of classes across all levels amid the yellow rainfall warning due to Tropical Depression “Bising” and the southwest monsoon or “habagat.”
As of posting time, it is the only Metro Manila City who announced class suspensions for online and in-person classes from kindergarten to senior high school and in-person classes for college students..

State weather bureau Pagasa said that as of 3 a.m., Bising was estimated to be 200 kilometers west-northwest of Calayan, Cagayan, with maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 35 kph.
Bising is moving in the southwestward direction at 20 kph, while “habagat” is affecting Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
