The company plans to present a range of advanced TPU solutions targeting applications in cable manufacturing, adhesive technologies, and high-performance films.
One of the materials being highlighted is a newly developed Estane ZHF 87HP8, intended for thin cable applications. It is formulated to offer enhanced mechanical strength and flame-retardant properties. According to the company, the material complies with international standards such as UL 1581, IEC 50363, and EC 60332-1-2, making it suitable for manufacturers with stringent regulatory requirements.
In the adhesives segment, Lubrizol is to introduce additions to its portfolio tailored for hot melt and extrusion applications. The firm said, these new TPUs â” Pearlbond ECO 590 HMS, Pearlbond 360, and Pearlbond 920L â” are engineered for flexible use across a range of end products, from seam tapes and bonding webs to furniture edge banding, where reliable performance and processing versatility are key.

The company is also set to expand the use of one of its existing TPU grades, Estane D91T86, initially developed for moulded parts, into new areas such as high-performance films and extruded components. This material offers excellent resistance to UV exposure and weathering, outperforming standard aromatic TPU options, the speciality chemicals company said.
