
UPDATE: Interstate 75 southbound in Bradley County has reopened following a crash involving five cars near Exit 25 on Tuesday, January 6, according to TDOT.

According to Bradley County EMS, one person required extrication by the Cleveland Fire Department and was transported by ground to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Occupants of the remaining vehicles were evaluated on scene and did not report injuries.
A cow was also involved in the crash, but was also unharmed, Bradley County EMS reports.
PREVIOUS STORY: A multi-vehicle crash has shut down Interstate 75 southbound in Bradley County on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), the crash was reported at approximately 2:33pm near Exit 25. All southbound lanes are currently closed.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while responders work.
Local 3 is working to learn about injuries.
Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) is currently investigating the crash.
