Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that the budget for Assassin’s Creed Shadows exceeded $100 million.
Ubisoft CFO Frederick Duguet revealed that a new Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon title is in development during the Q&A of Ubisoft’s Annual General Meeting, which took place in Paris on July 10, 2025.
According to Duguet, the game’s development will be partially funded by a recent investment from Tencent in Ubisoft’s subsidiary. Notably, Charlie Guillemot, son of Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, was appointed co-CEO of this subsidiary company on July 16, 2025.
As for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon series, the upcoming game will become the 16th installment in the franchise. The latter military tactical shooter from the series was released on October 4, 2019, titled Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The game failed to meet sales expectations and saw the end of live service support on April 5, 2022, shortly after Ubisoft added non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to the game.
Besides that, during Ubisoft’s Annual General Meeting, company CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that the budget for Assassin’s Creed Shadows exceeded $100 million.
