Ankara: Turkiye’s exports of high- and medium-high-tech products totaled $80.7 billion between January and September of 2025.

The Turkish Statistical Institute reported Sunday that government policies prioritizing investment, production, employment, and exports in manufacturing sectors geared toward competitive output have clearly impacted export figures.

The country’s exports in this category included products requiring advanced technologies such as aerospace, arms and ammunition, motorized land vehicles, medical goods, computers, and electrical equipment, with total export value reaching $80.7 billion in the first nine months of 2025.

The institute stated that exports of high-tech products amounted to $6.9 billion, while medium-high-tech exports reached $73.8 billion.

It added that Turkiye’s exports of high- and medium-high-tech products stood at $53.1 billion in 2013, rising to $60.1 billion in 2017, $77.4 billion in 2021, $88.7 billion in 2022, $97.3 billion in 2023, and $101.1 billion last year.
