Looks like the DoJ is doing things on their own – and they’re essentially behind the scenes and behind the back of the White House. Now, we know about all the public nonsense, the best one being the failure to bring AG James up on charges a second and third time, being denied by a grand jury. We know about a couple of others purely for revenge. Trump splashed that all over Truth Social. Oops. So we have another short and sweet article, again with thanks to Raw Story:
In a series of interviews with Vanity Fair, Donald Trump’s chief of staff Susie Wiles revealed that the president was unaware the Department of Justice would transfer convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell to a minimum-security prison following an interview with her. According to the New York Times’ Peter Baker, Wiles made a series of “extraordinarily unguarded” observations about the Trump White House’s inner workings, including critical remarks about Attorney General Pam Bondi and Vice President JD Vance. During her conversation with interviewer Chris Whipple, the topic of the Jeffrey Epstein files naturally arose.
Uhoh. Donnie wasn’t told about something the DOJ did quietly, except for Ghislaine, in a minimum-security prison with a whole lot of perks, is big news. (She should have stayed where she was, child predator. Beeyotcch.) And also, apparently, Susie Wiles doesn’t know the cardinal rule of “choose your words carefully during interviews.” Well, why would she? Her work is done behind the scenes. (Behind the scenes, doing things without a camera stuck in your face is generally more fun and enjoyable.) She manages Donnie pretty well, and that takes a smart, smart person. Think about it.
Wiles attributed the decision to interview Maxwell to Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, Trump’s former lawyer, now serving at the Department of Justice. She stated that Trump had no knowledge that Maxwell would be relocated to a minimum-security facility. “The president was ticked,” Wiles recalled. “The president was mighty unhappy. I don’t know why they moved her. Neither does the president.” Wiles also claimed to have reviewed the Epstein files and asserted that they contain no incriminating information about either Trump or former President Bill Clinton.
Okay, not so sure about the Epstein files thing. We can bet that items will be pulled out of the files we’re going to receive, and Donnie’s name will be redacted everywhere. There are definitely things we won’t get to see, which royally sucks. We should have seen them right away, before 1,000 agents went through and scrubbed things. We *know*, thanks to Virginia’s courage, that Donnie was, and still is, a child predator. Did you note that other names weren’t mentioned? We already know Bannon was in the inner circle of Epstein’s friends. It should be fascinating to see how many people are listed. If there are even more redactions, we’re screwed.
Jared Kushner is a nasty piece of work, but now Ivanka can have time to spend with her kids doing non-governmental things. And she gets away from her father. I wonder if she was creeped out by what Donnie did, or if she was oblivious, which children *should* be, and is only learning about it now. How many of these people in his cabinet are going to be told to GTFOH when Donnie loses it? And if they do go, would someone worth a damn replace them? Only The Shadow knows. See you on the flip side!
Friends, I know everyone begs you for money, especially around the holidays. I promise, among all those asking for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest working. We’re a group of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. The rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the chance to keep telling the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
