Some might tick the box to offset their flights. Others might try to pick hotels with green credentials.
But musicians Dallas Frasca and Sarah MacLeod are living the promises of more sustainable travel.
They are currently on tour, and will play at Mojo’s Bar, Fremantle, on Saturday March 7.
And, like the many other gigs on their tour, which started in Albury, has included Melbourne and Gold Coast, and finishes in Newcastle, they will get to the show from their eco-certified accommodation using carpooling, public transport, walking or riding bikes to wherever possible.
Their Green Electric tour lives the sentiments of their current album, ‘Til It’s Gone.
Its sentiments are strong, as is the performance from Dallas (bass, guitar, vocals) and Sarah (guitar, vocals) …

A spokesperson explains: “From recycled merchandise and sustainable travel routes to meat-free catering and eco-certified accommodation, every detail has been designed to minimise impact on the Green Electric Tour.
“Fans are invited to join the movement by wearing their best sustainable fashion to the gigs, and carpooling, taking public transport, walking, or riding bikes to venues wherever possible — making the audience part of the solution, not just the show.”
