Emerging PoS Contenders: Toncoin, Algorand, XDC, Injective, Tezos, and MultiversX
Beyond the top three, many other PoS coins are carving their niche in the market. Toncoin, which powers the , has a market cap of $7.04 billion. It was trading at $2.79, though it saw a slight decline of 0.29 % in the past day.
Algorand, which was once the ‘future of finance,’ today has a valuation of $1.96 billion with a price of $0.2232 and a marginal daily drop of 0.09 %. XDC Network, on the other hand, has a price of $0.07535 with a market capitalization of $1.33 billion, but dropped 0.95 % in the previous 24 hours.
Injective Protocol, which specializes in decentralized derivatives trading, is valued at $12.84 and has a market cap of $1.28 billion. It is backed by a robust daily trade volume of over $112 million.
Tezos, being one of the first PoS blockchains, is listed at $0.7103 and has a market capitalization of $753 million. Even with a more gradual adoption curve, it is still on the radar because of its self-amending nature of its blockchain structure. MultiversX, which was once Elrond, is listed at $14.16 with a market capitalization of $405 million due to investor optimism regarding its scalable architecture.
