Thomas Frank has provided an update on Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven ahead of the Premier League clash against Manchester City this weekend.
The Dutchman missed Wednesday’s Champions League game against Frankfurt due to a “minor” injury. The 24-year-old’s absence did not impact Spurs, however, as the Lilywhites ran out 2-0 winners in Germany to qualify for the round of 16 phase.
Frank spoke to the media on Friday ahead of Sunday’s clash against Man City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. During the press conference, the Dane confirmed Van de Ven was “touch and go” for the game against Pep Guardiola’s side.
He said: “Micky is a minor one. It will be touch and go. He was on the pitch yesterday and today but he’s touch and go.”
