This Morning star Josie Gibson has revealed that she’s moving into a caravan as she made a ‘sleepless nights’ admission.
Former Big Brother winner Josie has been a popular presence on the ITV breakfast show since 2019, beginning her time on the show as a competition announcer.
Josie began presenting This Morning in 2021, filling in at the time for Holly Willoughby, and is now often seen on hosting duties.
The popular TV star appeared on Thursday’s (August 7) edition of ITV’s Good Morning Britain to discuss her latest programme.
Titled Josie Gibson’s Big Country Build, the ITV documentary follows her attempts to transform her Somerset home into an eco-friendly property.
In a promotional video of the seven-part series aired prior to the interviews, Josie could be heard saying that the construction project left her ‘skint’.
Ranvir said at the beginning of Josie’s segment: “You know what, you used to live in a caravan before all of this, and now, just a few years later, you’ve bought this enormous house. You’re a great British success story, Josie!”
Josie replied: “Well, I’m moving back into a caravan, I don’t know about that!”
Branding her mission to create an eco-friendly property her ‘dream’, Josie revealed that her goal is to become ‘as off-grid as possible’.
Helping Josie out with her venture are her scrap metal trader brothers Josh and Charlie, her cousin Tom, who is a builder, and many Somerset locals.
“I’ve actually roped the family in. They say never to work with family or animals, and I’ve done just that. To say my stress levels are up here…
“They are great, they are amazing, but there are a lot of challenges, let’s say.”
Josie added: “I’ve had a lot of sleepless nights. Sometimes, you get this great big dream and you follow your dreams, but you don’t realise, with those dreams, there could be quite a lot of hurdles.”
While no release date has been officially confirmed, the MGM Alternative produced programme is set to hit the small screen in 2026.
Josie is no stranger to documentaries, having fronted travel series Around the World in First Class for Channel 5 earlier this year.
