The White House has confirmed that Donald Trump will attend an exclusive event for top holders of his TRUMP memecoin at his Florida residence on Saturday, following earlier uncertainty about his participation.
According to Reuters, Trump is set to deliver a keynote address at a gala luncheon organized by the company behind the Official Trump (TRUMP) token.
The event will take place at Mar-a-Lago and will be open to the top 297 TRUMP token holders, with the top 29 also invited to a private reception with the president.
When the gala was first announced in March, a White House official told Politico that it had not yet been finalized on Trump’s schedule and would coincide with the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington, D.C.—an event Trump had said he planned to attend for the first time as president.

The event’s terms note that Donald Trump may ultimately be unable to attend and that it “may be canceled for any reason.”
His potential appearance has drawn criticism from some lawmakers, who argue the gathering could present a conflict of interest. Earlier this month, Democratic Senators Elizabeth Warren, Richard Blumenthal, and Adam Schiff reportedly sent a letter to Bill Zanker, the figure behind the TRUMP memecoin, questioning whether Trump planned to “dangle access” to himself at the event.
“[O]rganizers are promoting a conference by dangling access to President Trump to potential attendees (and in doing so, are encouraging purchases of his meme coin that will generate transaction fees for the President and his family) on a day he may not actually be able to attend,” the letter said.
The gala marks the second such gathering for TRUMP token holders. The first, held at a Trump golf club in May 2025, also drew criticism from those who argued the president was leveraging his position for personal financial gain.
